So I wake up at the crack of noon to a phone call telling me bad news, my housing fell thru... no fault to Chris at all, but just bad situation is all. oh wells, thus begins the 48 hour hunt for a place.
Long long story short (involving phone calls, apartment hunting (which as it turns out isn't shooting the current tenant and then taking his stuff) and papers and heavy-craigslisting) with the help of Eric, Rich, and Mu, I have succeeded in finding a great place for cheap and its nice too (a plus!) So beginning next week, I'm going to be in Mission Valley near the Art Institute, Fashion Valley, a Blockbuster, D&B(!) and yes... A Hooters.
Not to mention Xtina! Who upon me finding out housing was the best person in the world and by the time I got back from running errands, she had already compiled a list of potential apartments! AND bus routes... whaattaa gal!
I feel like i've been neglecting you, blog, but don't worry, once I get settled again I'll make more interesting posts.
What else is new...
Watched the emmy's w/ Eric.
Recorded more stuff w/ Mu.
Hung out w/ Wilmar.
OG'd w/ Ed.

Highlights of the Week
For Wednesday
Raymond and I counting all the rooms in the res halls: "203... triple, 204... triple, 205... triple..."
Lesson of the day: ALWAYS explore the reshalls, we found mystery candy! DELICIOUS!
For Thursday
Mu and I singing Eamon's "Fuck it" like a million times, and archiving the videos/files in the station... cleaned up like 100 gigs.
Lesson of the day: Never get water from Sbarros... its just sink water with ice (and the ice is probably from the tap too). But in all fairness, they tell you that when you ask for water... I assume they say that so you say "nevermind" ... but Mu and I each had heaping cups of Sbarro Super Special Sink Sludge.
For Friday
Eric and I going to UTC to Office Games and getting our asses kicked at Halo 2 by little kids... then rematching them and showing them how good (or lucky in my case) we actually were.
Also, Eric and I saw two weird things that caused me to look over at him to make sure he saw it too.
1) a woman getting spanked by her husband (I hope!) - it was a weird way to get her attention... and ours... *shrudder*
2) this little kid in a karate outfit judo chopping his own butt.
Lesson of the Day: Buffalo tastes better than ostrich... but I think thats because it was a 1/2 buffalo, 1/2 ostrich burger in which you could compare immediately... ostrich is fine, but buffalo is better.

Post the Third
Dear Diary,
So I'm doin' laundry right now, and waiting for the wash cycle to finish - so i decided to pop in and say hi. For those of you who don't know, I'm attending the Art Institute of California, San Diego starting October 1st, so I'll be down in SD this year. I've been busy hammering out the details of registration and which credits transfer and all that boring stuff.
I've been brushing up on my illustrating (aka drawing, but illustrations make it sound cooler) and I have drawn a buncha stuff in my sketchbook. Once i get a scanner/digital camera i'll post some stuff up.
I rewatched season 3 of the Office - its a hilarious show, which pays off even more if you watch it a second time in order... because you forget things if you watch it week to week.
I need to restring my guitar because I busted it last weekend while jamming with Mu to an Eamon song... you'll see...
Sorry for the wait, that was Xtina on the phone. Well if you're reading i guess you can't tell that I paused between the last sentence and this one.
I'll wrap this up with me urging you to check out Flight of the Conchords of New Zealand.

Tuesday Adventure
9:00am - Wake Up
9:30am - Really Wake Up
10:00am - Price Center, get supplies from the NEW bookstore (pretty cool setup). Hang out in PC Theatre... I swear I'm alone, so I surf the web, then I fart - but don't worry I swear I'm alone... until I look up and see this girl by the wall on her computer too... UH OH! Awkwardly hang out on my computer and try to mimic fart sounds w/ my mouth and shoes on metal, chairs, etc... to no avail...
11:00am - Take the walk of shame past the girl - wear headphones and pretend I'm listening to music.
11:09am - Take the 150 bus to Old Town, to transfer to the 44. Actually listen to music - hear the "I love you egg" song no less than 3 times... its like a 12 track CD! 25% of it is the EGG SONG.
12:00pm/am (I always forget...) NOON: Check out my potential new place. Meet Justine's twin brother... it is her... with a mustache! No just kidding. Really like the place, price, location. Chris is cool.
12:30pm - Catch the Green Line (Sneak on... hahaha, just like at comic con) - get to Fashion Valley.
1:00pm - Leech internet from the Apple Store... I'm sitting just across from it, and nobody's the wiser... BWAHAHAHA. It's 1:00pm now, so here's the plan for the rest of the day.
3:30pm - Catch 14 Amaya Trolley to check out Justin's place - yeah his name is Justin.
5:30pm - Art Institute Orientation/Registration, get my schedule
??:??pm - Catch some bus back to campus, or if you read this and wanna let me hitch a ride, gimme a call.

1) I think its a good way to remember what I did in the past, whereas before I have the memory of a goldfish.
2) To share my creations: art, music, uh, and more.
3) Because I just farted (see above blog) and I need to kill some time before it is appropriate to leave and have the girl not blame the fact that I farted for my leaving. The truth is that she could blame the creation of this blog on the fact that I farted in public (WHEN I SWEAR THAT THE LOBBY WAS EMPTY)
